Ophic Metamorphosis

Solo Show

Experiencing personal growth and transformation can be difficult. Transformation requires a new energy to enter our system, something to break the momentum of our existence. This can be painful and, in fact, often comes in the form of an ordeal. Of course, any ordeal can be scary, but ultimately change is a rewarding experience. This is the heart of the ophic metamorphosis - just as a snake sheds its skin to come out fresh and bright, so too can people transform themselves in ways they never expected. Change is a powerful thing, and one that is not without dangers as change is a form of entropy introduced into the system of self and entropy or chaos, by its nature makes us permeable to influences outside our control, for better or worse. Still, it is only through embracing those influences and incorporating them into our life that we can learn to fully exist within the evershifting manifestation that we somehow identify as our self.
